With Quilt Day 2013 we are continuing our project of making lap quilts for breast cancer patients. When: April 6, 2013, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Where: Bethel United Methodist Church, 1220 Bethel Road, Columbus 43220 (West of 315 N) Why: To continue our project of making lap quilts for breast cancer patients receiving treatment at the JamesCare Comprehensive Breast Health Center or
OSU East.
Cost: Just your time … Lunch is on us!!! (Feel free to bring some fabric from your stash to add to ours!!!) If your sewing machine is portable, please bring it with an extension cord. What if you don’t sew or quilt…. Then come to cheer us on, iron, pin or whatever else you are good at!! Directions: to the Bethel United Methodist Church, 1220 Bethel Road, Columbus 43220 From Route 315 either North or South: Exit at Bethel Road and turn west (only way you can turn). The church is about 1 mile from the exit on the north/right side of the street. You will go under some train tracks before reaching the church. If you reach Godown Rd., you have passed the church. From the West: Come north or south on Frantz Rd. to Hayden Run Rd. Take Hayden Run Rd. across the river and up the hill where it will turn into Bethel Rd. The church is approx. 3.3 miles from the river on the north/left side of the street. If you reach Kenny Rd. or the train tracks, you have passed the church. MapQuest map |
