Breast cancer patients receive a quilt to provide emotional and physical warmth
during their breast cancer treatments. Use your handiwork to brighten a patient’s day as part of The James Stitching Sisters’ “211 Quilts for 2011.” Donate a completed quilt (at least
48 x 60 inches, machine or hand-quilted) to “211 Quilts for
2011”. This year we have added another option: “Pick-a-Pair”.
With pick-a-pair you may pick a pieced quilt top and backing from those
already completed at the sewing center; just add quilting and binding
to enter into the quilt challenge. All supplies, including batting may
be picked up at the sewing center.
Deadline: 7th Annual Quilt Day, Spring 2011 (place and date to be announced later) *Quilts can be turned in prior to the Annual Quilt Day at Quilt Beginnings Broad, Quilt Beginnings NW, Always in Stitches, Grove City, or the James Stitching Sisters’ Sewing Center, Cramer Creek Ct. In return, you will be entered in two drawings: Grand Prize: Sewing Machine Fabric Drawing: 10 yard cuts of assorted fabrics (One drawing for every 20 persons, 1 in 20 chance) |
